If you or your site has a need for ninteenth century footwear . . . .
The staff and volunteers of Lincoln Log Cabin have worked for months with a major boot company to accomplish these three goals:

1. To manufacture an historically accurate, square-toed, early-to-middle ninteenth Century boot and brogan, using the highest quality construction, and the finest leather.

2. To provide a comfortable arch support inside, while maintaining an authentic style outside.

3. To provide these products at very reasonable prices, with a timely delivery.

I t has been one of those times when the outcome is far better than ever hoped for. After five prototypes, we were able to say, "This is it!" -- and, if we do say so ourselves, our ninteenth century eyes tell us that the look is right; the leather is right; the comfort is right. Add to that our reasonable prices and timely delivery.

In order to manufacture the boots and brogans while getting a price that was affordable, we had to order a lot of them. We decided to go with it and pass the quality footwear on to other groups and sites that are having the same problem that we were: good recreations are hard to find at affordable prices. We believe that these boots and brogans will be able to solve a lot of problems in the world of ninteenth century men's and women's footwear.

Current customers include Conner Prarie, Iowa Living Hisorty Farms, Old World Wisconsin, the Minnesota Historical Society, as well as numerous other interpreters and reenactors all over the United States and Canada.
